|Gavin Morrison is a well-known railway photographer who has compiled more than 60 books since taking up railway photography in 1949. However, this book is the first to use his period colour of steam. He lives in Mirfield, Yorkshire.
This attractive, large-format book shows steam locomotives at work throughout the country, in all weathers and in a year-by-year presentation, accompanied by the author’s knowledgeable commentary. Good-quality colour photographs of the last days of the steam age are rare.
